This page explains how to request that your BitNations account and the data tied to it are deleted. You can do this yourself on the website or in the BitNations app. If you cannot sign in, email us and we will delete it for you.

How to delete your account

1. Sign in at bitnations.com, or open the BitNations app while you are still signed in.
2. On the website, open Account and choose Delete account, then confirm.
3. In the BitNations app, open Settings and choose Delete account.
4. If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the email address on the account. Use the subject "Delete my BitNations account".

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Start over in Nation settings starts a fresh game and keeps your account. That is not an account delete.

Cancel any subscription in Google Play or the App Store before you delete. Deleting your BitNations account does not cancel a store subscription.

Data that is deleted

When the account is deleted, BitNations removes:

• Your login and profile, including your password, sessions, and devices
• Your nation and its progress: buildings, military, resources, technology, land, and map territory
• Direct messages
• Notifications, achievements, and cosmetics
• In-app purchase records stored by BitNations
• An alliance you founded

Data that is kept

BitNations keeps a short deletion record: your email, your former nation name, and the date you deleted. We keep that record for as long as BitNations operates the game, so we can spot delete-and-recreate abuse and answer support questions. Your password and nation progress are not kept.

• Alliance chat messages stay, with your sender name removed
• Store receipts stay with Google or Apple
• Copies in backups are removed on the normal backup cycle
